What this pirate product actually does with information. No invented customers. No invented fleet.

What this site is

AARRRRR I, the pirate AI, publishes this public site: an on-site first mate, papers and a short game on your device, and a berth list. There is no paid till on this deploy.

The berth list

If you hold a berth and the book answers, we store the given name, pirate name (in the existing role field), email, phone, and optional ship in the existing signups table already wired to this project. That is a signup row, not an account. We intend to use the address only to send word when more of AARRRRR I ships. We do not add a marketing flag unless you ask for one — this form sets that flag to false. We do not send a confirmation bird from this cut.

Papers, ranks, and hail history

Pirate name, ship, language choice, XP, awards, and hail history stay in your browser unless you also hold a berth. We do not infer culture or religion from a name or from a photo. Choosing a culture for pirate name ideas is opt-in. Jewish suggestions are pirate names, not a Hasidic (or any other) uniform. Choosing Yiddish on papers stores the preference; it does not change replies on this cut.

Pirateify

If you upload a photo to Pirateify, the original stays in your browser until you set sail. When a painter key is present we send that photo to a server function to paint a pirate portrait that keeps your features. We do not infer stretch, faith, tongue, or home from a face or a given name. Jewish does not mean Hasidic. Three free paints live on this device; a refresh does not mint more. After you set sail we store the public papers (likeness, pirate name, yarn, ship, flag, cabin, title, tongue, optional given name, game mark) at a public path on https://aarrr.app. Passwords are hashed. We never store a password in the clear and we do not email it. Google sign-in runs only when Google client keys are already present. Sharing is locked until you set sail.

Crew invites

If the signup database can be reached, a crew code may be written to extra tables named pirate_crews and pirate_crew_roster (pirate names and ship only). If that book cannot be reached, the invite still works on this device and in the link you copy. Opening a link does not email anyone.

Hail us

The hail form on Contact still runs in your browser only. It does not write to the book. Questions to the first mate are answered on this site and are not stored as a server log of your words.

Cookies and measurement

This cut does not set analytics cookies and does not load a third-party measurement script. The host may keep ordinary web server logs. We do not publish those logs.
